The Turtle Definitely Can't Help You Now
Stephen King's latest, Duma Key, is one big steaming pile of letdown.

"The critic is the only independent source of information. The rest is advertising."
— Pauline Kael
"Film lovers are sick people."
— Francois Truffaut
"Let others praise ancient times, I am glad I was born in these."
— Ovid
It seemed to me that a decent editor should've been able to fix the main problems in "Duma"- P.O.V. was all over the place; it's a linear story and should be told as such (delete all time shifts); and it's repetitive. At 350 pages, it might have been a nicer ride.
