I've Seen A Man With No Legs Stay Standing, And A Guy With No Voice Keep Shouting

Over at Pajiba, I take a look at the second season of "The West Wing."

I watched a few episodes from that season again in preparation for writing the piece, and I'm not at all ashamed to say that I choked back tears several times during "In the Shadow of Two Gunmen." I always do.

Daniel, I ALWAYS cry at that episode. When Jed and Josh are at the airport after his father dies, and Jed tells him that his father would be proud? Sobbing. Every time.

Yeah, that's the moment, or one of them. Also, when Donna comes to the hospital to see if the President is okay but she doesn't yet know about Josh. That whole scene just kills me.

When Josh says, "What's next?" and Bartlett repeats it to everyone and puts his hand on Josh's head, Ahhhhhh.

So as you well know, I was totally pissed that you out ranked me in the land of Pajiba 'cause I knew you were gonna go for our beloved WW Ssn 2 but I must say, I couldn't have done it any better. I concur many times over. Damn fine writing, Carlson. Damn fine.
