Review: Funny People

I was surprised, though, by how often I laughed and how funny (though intermittently) I found a movie that was pretty much a complete mess.

It wasn't good, but I did laugh.

Agreed. But that's part of what made the movie so weird, in a way. It's like the laughs were accidental, and only kept because they could help brand a middling drama as an epic comedy. If it had been 30-40 minutes shorter, it would have been a great story.

Yeah. If they'd taken out the end of the second act and the beginning of the third. That's just..I was...well, it was disappointing.
